 How To Install Windows In PC or Laptop

Windows is a basic software installed in pc or laptops using a an external source. Without it, boot up process of pc or laptop will not take place. Windows is like the blood of the pc. The way in humans, blood connects different organs and helps in their coordination, similarly, windows collects information from different components of pc and helps to coordinate them. It is also called operating system (OS). Before learning to install windows, some important things should be kept in mind. If you are a gamer then you will be disappointed with some of the windows version. Some windows do not run some games due to some incompatibility issues. For e.g. when I had a pc which had win xp installed in it, it could run all small graphics games like dave, mario etc. Then I upgraded my pc specs and windows to windows 7 ultimate and believe me this windows was the best windows which could run any games and applications without any incompatibility issues. This windows 7 was 32 bit so it could run both 16 bit and 64 bit applications. But after 2 years I updated my windows with windows 8 and I was having problema and compatibility issues with many programe and games. Prince of persia two thrones was launched at that time. I was able to play it on windows 7 without any issues but in windows 8, the game opens but shows a black screen then whole pc lags. Then I had to reboot my pc or sometimes I could open the task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+del buttons and end the game which would close the game and brings back the pc. I also tried to change compatibility settings in the properties option of the game but it didn't work. This problem in windows 8 was not only with prince of persia but also with other games like call of duty black ops, call of duty modern warfare etc. Due to these incompatibility issues, I had to switch back the windows to windows 7 ultimate which was the all rounder of that time. Now windows 10 is available which is also good and can run almost all programs and games without any issues. Another important aspects is to check whether your pc or laptop specs supports the windows you are installing. Every windows has its own minimum requirements regarding device specifications. If the minimum requirements is not met then windows will not work properly. There will be lagging and black screen problems if windows does not meet its requirements. 

Installation of windows

Windows installation can be done by booting and without booting the device. For installing windows without booting, you must have windows setup in that device. You can download windows setup from internet or you can buy it from the company. But most people download windows setup because buying windows CD is very expensive. The windows downloaded may not be genuine that means windows after installing will show "activate your windows" everytime you turn on your device. You can bypass this windows activation by using other activation key generators or applications available online even though they may or may not work. You can download windows setup from torrents. 

After downloading windows setup, you have to move your important files from drive in which you are installing windows. Usually C drive is the location where windows files are installed. So if your previous windows was installed in C drive then you must move any important data and files from that drive to another one. After tranfering, open windows setup, then click install button. Then destination for installation will be asked. You must browse the destination to C drive (or drive in which previous windows was present and then click next. Then next will be drive partition in which you can adjust how much storage partition you want to provide to each drive. If you are not aware of it or you don't want to change the storage space occupied by each drive then leave it as it is and proceed with install button. It will take time to install windows. Your device will reboot automatically two or more times while installing. After installation is complete your device may be rebooted one more time and you will see your new windows starting. 

If you want to install windows by booting then you have to first transfer the downloaded windows setup to a CD or pendrive. After transfering, you have to insert the disk or pendrive in which windows setup is present into the device in switched off state. Then turn on the device, you will see a marker blinking for sometime, then your windows installation screen appears. Click install and then repeat the steps mentioned earlier in withou booting method. Booting method is usually used when previous windows of the device is corrupted and doesn't run properly. After installation you have to reinstall all your games and applications like winrar, vlc, gpu driver etc. Otherwise you will not be able to open any files and watch any videos in both online and offline.
